How do I set up Chapters?

Set it up once and the same link changes by itself: invitation before the wedding, guide on the day, keepsake after.

  1. Open Chapters in your dashboard

    You will see three tabs: Before, The Big Day, and Happily Ever After. Before is simply your invitation as it is now, so you keep editing that one in the Design Studio.

  2. Turn on The Big Day

    Press Activate The Big Day. From midnight Manila time on your wedding date, guests see the day version of your page. Nothing changes until you activate it.

  3. Choose what shows on the day

    Use the eye beside each section to show or hide it, and the arrows to move it. Most couples hide the RSVP and move the timeline up. You can also switch on the seat finder, photo sharing and guest check-in. If you set up souvenir or drink booths, Your Claim Pass is in the list too, so you can put it where guests will see it first. Your normal design is not touched.

  4. Post announcements

    Add up to ten short notes, like "Please be seated by 4:30 PM" or "Claim your souvenir at the table by the door". You can add a link to each one. They sit at the top of the page on the day.

  5. Turn on Happily Ever After

    Press Activate Happily Ever After. From the day after the wedding, the RSVP becomes your thank-you note and the seat finder goes away. Write the note, paste your highlights video link (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook or Google Drive), and choose whether to show the photos your guests shared.

  6. Check it before the day

    Switch on Test mode in either tab, then press Preview. On The Big Day you can also see the page as a sample guest who is coming, has not replied, or cannot come. Nothing you do in the preview is saved or sent.

What your guests see

Guests keep the same link the whole time. A guest who saved it months ago and opens it at the reception gets the day page, and opening it the week after gets your thank-you and the photos.

Do I have to send guests a new link on the wedding day?
No. The link you already sent changes by itself at midnight Manila time on your wedding date, once you have activated The Big Day.
Does Chapters change my design?
No. It only chooses which sections show and in what order on the day and after. Your colours, fonts and words stay as they are.
Can I see the day page before the wedding?
Yes. Switch on Test mode and press Preview. Nothing you do there is saved or sent to guests.
