Using Ceremo
In short: Ceremo is for building your wedding invitation, sharing RSVP links and planning your guests.
Ceremo helps you create a wedding invitation page, send RSVP links to your guests, and track their responses. By creating an account, you agree to use the service lawfully and follow these terms.
Ceremo features include invitation design, RSVP tracking, guest management, seating planning, photo sharing, event day check-in, video embeds, timeline scheduling, and account sharing. Features may be added, modified, or retired as the platform evolves.
Your account
In short: It is your account, so keeping it safe is on you.
- Keep your login credentials private — you're responsible for your account's security.
- You're responsible for the content and photos you upload to your invitation.
- Don't misuse the platform — automated scraping, spam, and abusive content are not allowed.
- If you invite a co-owner to your invitation, they receive the same access to invitation data as you. You are responsible for choosing a co-owner you trust.
Your content
In short: Your words, photos and music stay yours. We only get what we need to run your invitation.
Your photos, text, audio files, and event details remain yours. By uploading content, you give Ceremo permission to store, process, and display it — only for the purpose of running your invitation page and features like exports, seating charts, the guest gallery, our song playback, event day check-in, video embeds, and seat finder.
When you embed a video from YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook, the video content is subject to that provider's terms of service. Ceremo is not responsible for third-party content or how those providers handle viewer data.
Music and copyright
In short: Upload only music you have the right to use. We remove songs when a copyright owner asks.
Ceremo allows Premium users to upload audio files for our song on their invitation page. By uploading audio, you confirm that you own the recording or have obtained the necessary rights or licenses to use it.
You may not upload copyrighted music — including commercial recordings, movie soundtracks, or songs by recording artists — unless you hold a valid license or the work is in the public domain.
If we receive a valid copyright complaint under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or equivalent Philippine law (Republic Act No. 8293, the Intellectual Property Code), we will promptly remove or disable access to the reported content. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to hello@useceremo.com. Your counter-notification must include your name, the content that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of Philippine courts or the federal courts in your district. We will review counter-notifications and may restore the content if the original complaint is not pursued.
To report a copyright concern, contact us at hello@useceremo.com with the details of the claim.
Paying for Ceremo
In short: Couples pay once per invitation for Premium. Coordinators on Pro pay by subscription.
Premium costs ₱2,499 one-time per invitation and includes 2 years of access from the date of purchase. When your Premium is within 30 days of expiring, you can extend it by one year for ₱999. Couples never pay a subscription or a per-guest fee.
Coordinator Pro is a subscription that renews monthly or yearly, as you choose, until you cancel it.
Payments are processed through Stripe or by QR bank transfer. Refund requests are handled case by case — contact support if you need help.
Guest data and visibility
In short: A few features show one guest's details to other guests. Here is exactly which.
Some features make guest information visible to other guests:
- Seat finder: guests who look up their seat assignment can see the names of other guests at their table.
- Photo sharing: guest-submitted photos and the uploader’s name (if provided) are visible to anyone with access to the invitation’s photo gallery.
- RSVP: individual guest responses are only visible to the invitation owner and any co-owner, not to other guests.
When things change
In short: We keep Ceremo running with care, but cannot promise it never goes down, and it will keep growing.
We work to keep Ceremo available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update features, fix issues, or make changes to improve the platform. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.
Limitation of liability
In short: Ceremo is provided as it is, and our liability is limited to what the law allows.
Ceremo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Ceremo and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or event-related disruptions.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Ceremo in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These limitations do not affect any rights you have under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) or other mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by agreement.
Governing law
In short: Philippine law applies, including the Data Privacy Act.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Your use of Ceremo is also subject to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. For details on how we handle your data and your rights under this law, see our Privacy Policy.
Any disputes arising from these terms that cannot be resolved through our support channels shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in the Philippines.
