Money: your clients, instalments and payment reminders
Keep each client’s fee and instalments on Money, send a payment reminder, and print a statement or your books.
Updated
Money is your own book of clients: what each one agreed to pay you and what they have paid. Only you see it. Couples never do.
Ceremo does not collect or send money for you. Your couples pay you directly, and you record it here.
Add a client
- Open Money and click Add a client.
- Type their name and pick the kind of event: a wedding, a debut, a birthday, a corporate event and more.
- Add the date, the venue, your fee and their email if you want to send reminders.
A client starts as an enquiry until you mark them booked. Enquiries and cancelled clients are not counted in your figures.
Instalments
Open a client and click Add instalment for each payment you expect, with its amount and due date. When the money arrives, tick it as paid. An unpaid instalment past its due date shows as overdue.
Payment reminders
Each unpaid instalment has three ways to chase it:
- Send reminder emails the client now. The email comes from Ceremo with your name on it, carries your payment details and QR, and replies go to your own email.
- Copy for Messenger copies the same words, ready to paste into a chat.
- Remind 3 days before sends the reminder by itself three days before the due date.
Add your payment details and QR once, under How clients pay you in Business settings.
Print a statement or your books
- A client's Statement lists what they agreed, what they paid and what is left, with how to pay.
- The Books report, beside Add a client, lists every booked client with what is outstanding and what is coming due.
Both open in a preview with Print and Download PDF, under your own logo and business name.
